Paul Horn Hall offers opportunities and opens up new markets
Optimised hall concept thanks to more exhibition space

"The new hall situation provides us with numerous opportunities to make R+T even better and specifically respond to the needs of our exhibitors and visitors," said Sebastian Schmid who is responsible for the further development of the trade fair. "We deliberately took some time in order to analyse the new general conditions and related possibilities. Everything is now simply perfect.“
The concept
The extended West Entrance will generally ensure that visitors are more evenly distributed - and from 2020 onwards then with the direct connection to the urban rail network. The door and gate industry will obtain their own entrance with Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8) and Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10), and will therefore be even more compact in future. The short distances and the structure of the trade fair grounds in Stuttgart now enable the sun protection area to be further centralised and improved in qualitative terms.

Without any discernible changes in the normal hall layout with its "regular exhibitors", sun protection will now also be presented from 2018 onwards in Hall 4 and Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6). "The acquisition of new target groups for our exhibitors plays an important role in this respect," said Sebastian Schmid. For example, Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6) will also become the "mecca" for the hotel and restaurant sector at the next R+T. "In addition to traditional R+T visitors, this concept is also specifically geared towards everyone involved in making decisions regarding investments and the expansion of restaurant areas. In addition to other international companies, we have attracted in Renson and Weinor two well-known firms who will decisively shape the image of the new hall through their presence at R+T 2018 in Stuttgart," said Sebastian Schmid.

Paul Renson, Managing Director of the Belgian company Renson, is pleased to support the well thought-out hall plan: “As a specialist in sun protection and terrace coverings, we are happy to be part of the new concept at R+T. We are honored to have the chance to participate in shaping the future of R+T. Visitors can already look forward to the next appearance of Renson at R+T 2018, where we will be presenting our latest innovations.“

And also Thilo Weiermann, Managing Director of Weinor GmbH & Co. KG in Cologne, is pleased about the new opportunities that will result from his company’s appearance at the trade fair: “Thanks to our placement in the new hall, in cooperation with the trade fair management we can implement our stand concept perfectly – the ideal precondition for convincing the specialist public of the innovative power of Weinor”

Outdoor, living and ambience: the next R+T will therefore come up trumps with these topic highlight. Maximum synergies will be produced by the fact that Messe Stuttgart already organises an innovative gastronomy trade fair, i.e. INTERGASTRA, in-house: "We are not only actively cooperating with this event, we can also profit here from the already existing network and industry know-how," stated Sebastian Schmid. This means there will be ideal conditions to successfully develop and enhance R+T in Stuttgart as an established industry platform - in addition to its proven elements - with other topics which take account of market requirements.
